Nigerian music sensation Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid, has achieved another milestone by becoming Africa's highest-earning artiste on Spotify.
According to a report by music statistics platform Chart Masters, Wizkid leads the continent's earnings with an impressive $1 million in monthly Spotify revenue.
The top ten African earners list is dominated by Nigerian artists, with the only exception being South Africa's rising star Tyla.

Globally, Canadian rapper Drake and American singer Taylor Swift top the Spotify earnings chart, with $7,717,904 and $7,713,106, respectively.
Wizkid’s latest accolade further solidifies his status as a trailblazer in African music, showcasing the global appeal of Afrobeats and its increasing influence on the world stage.
