Shocking Twist in Alleged Kidnapping Case: Teenage Couple's Ransom Scheme Exposed(Video)

In a stunning turn of events, a teenage girl and her boyfriend have been apprehended by authorities for staging a fake kidnapping scheme in order to extort a ransom from the girl's parents.

According to reports, the 21-year-old girl, identified as Princess, had visited her boyfriend, Prince, at his residence on December 30, 2024. Unknown to her parents, Princess had concocted a plan with Prince to stage a fake kidnapping in order to demand a ransom from her family, because the boyfriend had no money to give to her.

As part of the scheme, Prince contacted Princess's mother and claimed that her daughter had been abducted. He then demanded a ransom of 2 million naira in exchange for Princess's safe release.

Believing her daughter to be in genuine danger, Princess's mother immediately reported the incident to the Police authorities, in Delta State Command, who launched an investigation into the alleged kidnapping.

However, as detectives delved deeper into the case, they discovered that Princess was, in fact, safe and sound at Prince's residence. The couple's scheme was quickly unraveled, and they were taken into custody.

The motives behind the couple's actions are still unclear, but authorities speculate that they may have been seeking financial gain.
