Nollywood Stars, Toyin Abraham, Iyabo Ojo Rally Around Mercy Aigbe After Fire Devastates Her Home

The Nollywood community has shown an overwhelming display of support for actress Mercy Aigbe and her husband, Kazim Adeoti, following the tragic fire that damaged their Lagos residence.

On Wednesday, Mercy took to Instagram to share a video of the charred remains of her home, expressing her heartbreak. In the caption, she wrote: “Devastated! Thank God no life was lost! It is well.”

The news quickly sparked an outpouring of condolences from colleagues and fans alike.

Actress Toyin Abraham revealed the depth of Mercy’s pain, commenting: “Jesus 😢😢 Olorun, no wonder you were crying on phone. I’m so sorry, sis.”

Actor Timini Egbuson shared words of hope: “Omg! So sorry for this loss. We thank God regardless and pray for 100-fold replenishment.”

Iyabo Ojo, known for her close bond with Mercy, posted a heartfelt tribute to the couple on Instagram, writing: “My dear friend @realmercyaigbe & my humble brother @kazimadeoti, I’m deeply sorry to hear about the devastating loss of your home. Please know that God is with you, and He will help you rebuild and create something even more beautiful. Sending you love, sympathy, and support during this difficult time.”

Other stars, including Ronke Odusanya, Adeniyi Johnson, Blessing Obasi, and Biola Adebayo, also sent their condolences, praising Mercy for her resilience and offering prayers for restoration.

Despite the loss, Mercy has remained grateful that no lives were lost, a sentiment echoed by the Nollywood family standing firmly by her side.
