Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has officially claimed the title of 2024’s Box Office Champion, eclipsing the record set by fellow actress Toyin Abraham.
Awarded the prestigious title by Nigeria’s National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Toriola has cemented her place in Nollywood history with her blockbuster film, 'Queen Lateefah'.
Since its release in September, the movie has amassed a staggering N350 million in just two months, surpassing Abraham’s 2023 hit 'Malaika', which grossed N302 million.
