Popular comedian Seyi Law has openly questioned the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following the high-profile re-arrest of controversial crossdresser Bobrisky. The arrest took place Thursday night at Lagos' Murtala Muhammed International Airport as Bobrisky attempted to board a flight to London.

The incident marks Bobrisky's second recent brush with authorities, coming just days after an attempted escape at the Seme border led to his initial detainment.

In response to the re-arrest, Seyi Law took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, expressing confusion over the public confrontation. "I don’t understand this Bobrisky’s case abeg. Did any court ask him not to travel?" he posted. "Why allow him to get on the plane and humiliate him like this?"

Bobrisky’s back-to-back arrests have sparked debate across social media, as fans and followers speculate about the exact nature of the allegations.

Meanwhile, Seyi Law’s comments have added fuel to the conversation, questioning whether the EFCC’s actions were appropriate and if Bobrisky's re-arrest was necessary.
