Verydarkman Criticizes Nigerian Government for Charging Children with Treason, FG Lawyer says they are Adults and Married(Video)

 

Martins Vincent Otse, widely recognized as VeryDarkMan, a Nigerian activist, has criticized the Nigerian government following the arrest of several children for displaying the Russian flag, who were subsequently denied bail. 

VeryDarkMan shared that he spent the night in the same cell as these young individuals, who were brought to court today. Regrettably, the children were unable to obtain bail, leading him to question:

“Where will they sleep tonight? Back in the cell, right?”

In the video, the children, all reported to be under 17, appear to be malnourished. VeryDarkMan highlighted that these children are deprived of fundamental education. 

What understanding could they possibly have about treason? These are the young individuals who were detained by Tinubu government charges of treason.

“This is unfair on all levels. Please, let these kids go home,” he pleaded.

However the counsel to the Federal Government refuted the age claim of the 67 arraigned suspects and said they are adults and married; "none is a minor"
