The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command has addressed reports regarding the alleged murder of Miss Priscilla Ocheme by her boyfriend, Ekhosuehi Iseh Elvis, at his home in the Lugbe area.
Initial reports suggested that Priscilla, who had left her family home in Karu to take a break following a minor disagreement with her widowed mother, was killed by her boyfriend.
However, the FCT police, through a statement from Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Josephine Adeh, clarified that a preliminary investigation indicated that Priscilla actually died in a road accident on September 24, 2024.
The PPRO addressed the public, that the victim departed from her boyfriend's home later that evening and was en route to her residence when she was involved in a deadly motorcycle accident at the Amala Moore junction in Pyakasa.
She noted that the accident was witnessed by two laborers, Jerry Amos and Moses Bala, who were working at a nearby brick factory at the time.
According to her account, Pricilla was quickly taken to the Pyakasa Health Centre for treatment and was subsequently referred to the Federal Medical Centre in Jabi, accompanied by two police detectives.
“Upon arrival at the medical centre, she was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty”.
