Popular Nigerian comedian, Oluwaseyitan Aletile, better known as Seyi Law, has boldly stated that he faces no competition in the comedy industry.
In a recent episode of the Hip TV show “Trending,” Seyi Law explained that comedy legends such as Alibaba, Julius Agwu, Basketmouth, and AY are his benefactors, making the idea of competing with them unimaginable.

Seyi Law highlighted that, as a Yoruba man, he holds deep respect for those who have supported him throughout his career and has no desire to engage in any ranking battles within the industry.
“Comedy icons like Alibaba, Basketmouth, and AY are not people I can compete with. They’ve paid me for shows, included me in tours, and supported me. So, for me, it’s not about competition but respect,” he said.
He emphasized that the most important thing is ensuring the comedy industry thrives, and he remains content with where he is ranked, adding that the respect he holds for his senior colleagues transcends any need for rivalry.
