Controversial Nigerian street-pop singer Portable has reignited tensions with his baby mama, actress Ashabi Simple, accusing her of "fake love" just weeks after they welcomed their second child together.
The conflict sparked when Ashabi shared a self-praising video on Instagram, describing herself as “a blessed, happy, determined, peaceful, and grateful woman.” Portable, however, took to the comments to criticize her, claiming she only pursued a relationship with him to boost her fame.
“You dey look for fame, that is why you born for star. No dey use your own fake love dey spoil real love for me,” he wrote, adding a pointed jab: “Your leg no good oo, you need prayer.”
This latest online spat has set social media abuzz, with fans and followers sharing mixed reactions. While some express sympathy for the pair's turbulent relationship, others suggest the couple take their private matters offline.
Their drama follows a public fallout earlier in the year, when Portable and Ashabi unfollowed each other after her revealing interview on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast. With the back-and-forth intensifying, fans are left wondering whether the pair can find common ground or if their relationship will continue to play out in the public eye.
