Nigerian pastor Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Odumeje, has shared a shocking story of how he was involved in armed robbery at the young age of 14.

In a viral video, the controversial cleric opened up about his troubled past, revealing that growing up on a dangerous street in Onitsha, Anambra State, pushed him into a life of crime.

Addressing his congregation, Odumeje detailed how his early years were shaped by the harsh realities of his environment, leading him down a dark path.

“I was born in Onitsha city, No. 3, Nnewi Street, and I grew up in a dangerous street. I became an armed robber at the age of 14. I became a terrorist,” he confessed.

However, the pastor, now known for his dramatic and unconventional preaching style, credited his life transformation to his mother, who guided him towards Christianity.

“Jesus Christ arrested me through the help of my mother to change my life. And a destroyer became a saviour,” Odumeje added, emphasizing his transition from a life of crime to becoming a man of God.
