Bobrisky Hospitalized After Arrest at Seme Border, Legal and Health Concerns Mount

Popular Nigerian cross-dresser, Bobrisky (Idris Okuneye), has reportedly been hospitalized following his arrest by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at Seme Border.

Bobrisky, detained as a “person of interest,” was taken into custody on Monday amid allegations related to bribery claims and previous legal controversies. 

During his detention, Bobrisky reportedly developed a rising body temperature, prompting urgent medical attention and his subsequent transfer to an undisclosed hospital. His health condition has since raised public concern, with details about his status remaining scarce as of now.

The arrest comes in the wake of an investigation into claims that Bobrisky did not serve his full six-month prison sentence for naira mutilation. Although a government panel confirmed that Bobrisky completed his sentence, albeit under privileged conditions, the NIS detained him for allegedly attempting to flee the country.
