The saga between Nigerian activist Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), and controversial crossdresser Bobrisky has taken more dramatic turn, with VDM breaking his silence after being slapped with a staggering N1 billion lawsuit.
Just hours after Bobrisky posted a photo of the legal suit on Instagram, accusing VDM of defamation, blackmail, and leveraging Bobrisky’s name for personal gain, the internet was set ablaze.
In the suit, Bobrisky’s legal team claims VDM made outrageous allegations, including that Bobrisky had inappropriate relationships with top officials like DIGs of the Nigerian police, lawmakers, and senators—without providing any proof. Even more, the lawsuit takes aim at a so-called AI-generated audio clip that VDM shared, allegedly featuring Bobrisky in a compromising conversation.

He boldly declared that not only would he fight the lawsuit, but his lawyer would countersue Bobrisky for N1 billion… plus 20 naira.
VDM also teased that he holds crucial information that could shake the case, hinting at vital questions the Nigerian Correctional Service will have to answer once the trial begins. “I hold the game pad,” he boasted, suggesting he’s in control of the narrative. Refusing to be intimidated, VDM promised that everyone involved in the case would “suffer terribly.”
