Nigerian Afrobeats star, Patoranking, is mourning the tragic loss of his sister, Chioma, who reportedly died in a gas explosion at her home.
The tragic incident also claimed the life of her husband, George, who succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

The heartbreaking news was shared by media personality Cutie Juls, who took to Instagram to reveal the details of the incident.
The explosion, which occurred shortly after the family celebrated a housewarming and their child’s birthday, left Chioma dead on the spot. George fought for his life in the hospital but, unfortunately, passed away despite efforts to save him.

Cutie Juls posted: “Remember when I posted last week or so that his (Patoranking) sister passed away in a gas explosion incident in their home and the husband and child are battling for their lives in the hospital? The husband also couldn’t make it. He just passed away. Patoranking tried so much. Buying tones of blood to help save his brother-in-law’s life so at least his nephew won’t be an orphan."
Friends and fans are sending love and support to Patoranking, who has not yet publicly commented on the devastating loss.
