Controversial Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has questioned Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy's connection with American music executive Sean "Diddy" Combs, following Diddy's recent indictment on sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
Darlington’s remarks come after federal officers seized large quantities of drugs and over 1,000 bottles of baby oil from Diddy's Beverly Hills mansion in a March raid.
In a viral video, Speed Darlington provocatively questioned Burna Boy, asking if the embattled mogul used baby oil on him before producing Burna’s Grammy-winning album Twice As Tall in 2021.
"Burna, don’t get offended, how much oil did Diddy use on you before they gave you that Grammy?" Darlington remarked, alluding to Diddy’s involvement with the project.
Diddy has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty in court on September 17, 2024. The music mogul's bail request has been rejected twice, and he remains on suicide watch amid the ongoing trial. Burna Boy has yet to respond to Darlington’s comments.
