Famous Nollywood actor Jim Iyke has spoken out about his comfort with being perceived as a "villain" in the public eye. In a recent Instagram post, Iyke expressed his unwavering commitment to his values, even if it means being misunderstood.

The actor revealed that his decision to stand by his principles has played a crucial role in shaping his career, stating, “I have grown extremely comfortable being the villain in some people’s stories... Sometimes, I am quick to build a wall before compromising my ideologies and principles."

Despite the blurred lines between right and wrong in public narratives, Iyke remains firm in distancing himself from grandstanding and theatrics, choosing instead to stay true to himself. He acknowledged that while some love him, others project their insecurities onto him, leading to resentment.

“One thing is certain: you must trust people to be who they are... I’m hated for it. I’m loved for it,” he added, reinforcing his belief in authenticity over public approval.
