Blackface Calls for Plantashun Boiz Reunion, Urges 2Baba and Faze to Join Forces for Unity

Singer Augustine Amedu Obiabo, popularly known as Blackface, has publicly called for a reunion of the iconic Nigerian music group, Plantashun Boiz, which originally consisted of himself, 2Baba (formerly 2Face), and Faze.

Taking to his Instagram page, the ‘Hard Life’ crooner expressed a desire to bring the group back together, emphasizing the strength that comes from unity.

In his heartfelt post, Blackface urged his former bandmates to reunite for a common cause, highlighting the importance of peace and collaboration in these challenging times. He also called on fans to lend their voices in support of his plea, asking them to persuade 2Baba and Faze to consider the reunion.

“Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why? @fazealone @official2baba. My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing! Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs,” Blackface wrote.

Plantashun Boiz, one of Nigeria’s most influential music groups, originally split in 2004 after the release of their sophomore album, *Sold Out*. The trio briefly reunited in 2007 for their third and final album, *Plan B*, before parting ways once again.
