Nigerian singer Joshua Iniyezo, popularly known as Solidstar, has announced his engagement to his fiancée. The singer shared the joyous news on his social media page on Tuesday, posting a photo of the engagement ring on his partner’s finger. He described her as a "good woman," highlighting how rare it is to find such a partner.
Solidstar captioned the post, “Good woman no dey easy to find.”
This happy announcement comes after a challenging period for the singer. In August 2023, Solidstar was spotted looking unkempt and wandering aimlessly on the street, raising concerns among fans. His brother, Joseph, revealed that Solidstar was struggling with drug addiction at the time.
However, Solidstar addressed the issue in March 2024, announcing that he had overcome his addiction and no longer smoked or drank alcohol. His recovery marks a significant turnaround in his life and career.
Solidstar began his music journey at the age of 14 as a drummer in a church in Delta State. He later entered the music industry professionally after being discovered at a talent show in Ajegunle, Lagos. His engagement signals a new and hopeful chapter in his personal life.
