Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has taken to social media to express his distress after being attacked by area boys at an event in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos State, on Sunday.
The singer, who was attending the event to celebrate with a friend and car vendor, ended up leaving in a hurry with injuries after some attendees took offense at his antics.

In a viral video and a public statement shared on his Instagram page, Portable revealed that he narrowly escaped from the scene but lamented that his crew members were not as fortunate. He reported that several of his team members were still missing and that his attackers had stolen valuable items, including his pricey jewelry, ATM card, and two iPhones belonging to one of his managers.
Portable described the incident in detail, stating that he was initially there to show love and support but was met with violence instead. He called on the event's celebrant to help recover the stolen items and locate his missing crew members.
Speaking in pidgin, Portable wrote, "Wahala big palaba around Iju-Ishaga. We go celebrate with @lincon_orn who dey sell motor. Inside Adugbo wey we dey do show, na so all dis Egbon adugbo achieve us, ZEHNATION boys are still missing oo."
He continued, "They attacked my boys after I escaped… @lincon_orn should help tell those Egbon adugbo to return @iam_sexyshay’s 2 iPhones and my ATM. We see @dullarboi’s phones and car but we still can’t find him. I haven’t seen @bamidola_ we hear say them attack him. Those are my artistes that are missing oo. God no go shame us."
Portable expressed his disbelief and frustration, noting that despite showing love and generosity by giving away all his money, he was still targeted by the attackers. He questioned whether those who attacked him were truly fans or enemies, given the hostility he encountered.
The attack occurred just days after Portable had publicly celebrated the birth of his child with Babyluv, marking a stark contrast between the joy of that moment and the violence he faced at the event. The singer's fans and followers have since expressed concern for his safety and the well-being of his missing crew members.
