United States-based Nigerian dancer and influencer, Korra Obidi, has emerged victorious in a long-standing legal dispute with her estranged husband, Justin Dean, by securing a permanent restraining order against him.

The news was shared by Korra’s sister, Nancy, via an Instagram post on Wednesday. Nancy revealed that the court order was granted after a prolonged and emotionally charged legal battle. The couple’s marriage publicly crumbled in 2022 amid allegations of infidelity, leading to a series of legal confrontations.

In a related development, court documents dated January 19, 2022, had previously prohibited both Korra and Justin from sharing images or videos of their two daughters, June and Athena Dean, on social media. Despite this, Korra faced continued harassment, including anonymous reports to Child Protective Services (CPS) accusing her of child abuse, which she tearfully addressed in June 2023.

Nancy detailed disturbing allegations against Justin and an associate, accusing them of harassment, exploitation, and defamation. According to her, this associate, who was described as a Facebook stalker, allegedly took intimate photos and videos of Korra’s children in their father’s bathroom and shared them online for monetary gain with Justin’s knowledge and consent.

Korra’s victory marks a significant step in her fight to protect her children and regain her rights as a mother. The restraining order not only protects her from her ex-husband but also bans the alleged stalker from coming within 100 yards of her and her children.

Nancy share the update thus:

“Dear IG fam. How are you doing? I have never brought this issue here but I’m too excited and I want to share this.

“Today, my sister @korraobidi secured permanent restraining order against her Facebook stalker. This stalker defamed, harassed and threatened her for over 2 years on Facebook.

“It does not end there, this stalker befriended my sister’s ex. He invited her to his house and while she was there, she took pictures and videos of my sister’s children unclad right in their father’s bathroom.

“He permitted this stalker to share the clips and photos with a group of racists in exchange for monetary gains.

“So far, my sister has spent almost $200,000 fighting for her right to be in her children’s life. Today was the first of several hearings. She has taken him to court to get back her right to motherhood. We are happy it’s off to a great start. The stalker can no longer bully her online or come 100 yards near her and her children.

Nancy expressed her gratitude, stating, "I’m grateful to God for my sister. She escaped, not a lot of people are that lucky. Now she’ll fight for her TOTAL FREEDOM.”
