Celine Dion’s team has issued a statement clarifying that neither the singer nor her record label granted permission for her iconic song My Heart Will Go On to be used at a recent rally for former United States President and Republican Party candidate Donald Trump. The song was played at a Trump/JD Vance rally in Montana, sparking confusion and backlash.

In the statement, Dion’s team made it clear that the use of the song was not authorized and that the singer does not support such usage. “In no way is this use authorized, and Celine Dion does not endorse this or any similar use,” the statement read. The message also included a pointed remark questioning the choice of the song for such an event, adding, “…And really, that song?”
