In a shocking revelation, American rapper Cardi B has opened up about a recent "freak accident" that almost led to a miscarriage. The hip-hop star, who is currently pregnant with her third child, shared that the accident was severe enough to leave her temporarily paralyzed and put her unborn baby at risk.
During a candid conversation with fans on X, Cardi B recounted the terrifying experience. "I had a f*cking freak accident. It doesn’t really happen often, but it became something that was so big to the point I was literally paralyzed. It almost cost me my little one to come," she revealed.
Fortunately, despite the severity of the situation, the rapper did not suffer a miscarriage. However, the incident was so painful that she had to take morphine to cope with the pain, leaving her "high as a kite" when she returned home from the hospital.
Cardi B also mentioned that she would not hesitate to return to the hospital if the pain persisted, underscoring the seriousness of the situation.
This revelation comes on the heels of Cardi B's recent announcement that her husband, Offset, is the father of the third child she is expecting. The couple, who secretly married in 2017, share two children—daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 2—with a third baby now on the way.
Amid the joy of expecting another child, Cardi B is also navigating the complexities of her relationship with Offset. The rapper has filed for divorce, seeking primary custody of their children, according to reports from People magazine.
