Guyanese-American singer and rapper Saint Jhn has addressed claims that his latest afro-themed single, 'Humble,' was influenced by Nigerian afrobeats sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema. The 'Brown Skin Girl' crooner issued a disclaimer after a fan suggested that Rema's style had impacted his music.
In a post on X, a fan wrote, "I hear Rema’s influence on the new Saint Jhn." Responding to the claim, Saint Jhn acknowledged Rema's talent but clarified that he hasn't listened to his music extensively. "Nah, he’s dope. But I haven’t heard enough to be influenced," Saint Jhn wrote.
