However, in another controversial video shared on her Instagram page, Simi addressed the criticism with a heavy dose of sarcasm, apologizing for her supposed mistake. 

“I just came here feeling repentant. Guys, yesterday I went to the swimming pool wearing a swimsuit and I’m so sorry. Honestly I wasn’t thinking. I should have known better. I didn’t know better. I’m sorry.

“Next time I go to the swimming pool, just in respect to my husband I will wear a kaftan. I will do better. Better than the best. I don’t want to disappoint you and give you any reason to look down on me and my marriage,” she said, dripping with irony.
