Arsenal is reportedly considering selling Ukrainian defender Oleksandr Zinchenko in order to make room for potential new signings, such as Riccardo Calafiori.
While Zinchenko has been a popular player at Arsenal, it seems that there is more interest in him from other clubs, particularly in Italy.
The Transfermarkt portal values Zinchenko at 35 million euros, making him a valuable asset for the club to potentially sell in order to fund new acquisitions, reports an authoritative publication The Athletic.
"Arsenal may have to sell someone, but it is unclear whether this will be before or after the potential signing of Riccardo Calafiori. Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko are the most obvious candidates, with the former looking more likely at the moment because, despite his popularity at Arsenal, the Polish international seems to be attracting more interest, especially from Italy," the report states.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will sell Zinchenko before or after making any new signings, but it seems that his departure could be on the horizon.
