Scottish-Nigerian actress Caroline Hutchings has candidly shared her struggles and journey after her divorce from ex-husband Musa Danjuma.

In a heartfelt and lengthy Instagram post on Wednesday, the actress revealed how the split led her to lose her identity and dreams, forcing her to start life from scratch.

Hutchings recounted how she once wore many professional hats, including being a promising makeup artist, hair guru, actress, film producer, and fashion consultant. She also held the titles of CEO of Luxury Addict and CEO of Kinetic Media. However, following her divorce, she felt compelled to walk away from all these roles to maintain her sanity.

“I was once a promising makeup artist and hair guru, actress, film producer and fashion consultant. CEO Luxury Addict, CEO Kinetic Media. But I lost my identity and dreams because of divorce,” she wrote. “I walked away from it all for my own sanity. I started my journey from scratch facing all the fake rumors, discriminations, rejections and uncertainties at 29+ years."

Hutchings highlighted the often unspoken struggles of women who have experienced similar life changes, describing her journey as a "bittersweet journey to a place unknown."

“This is my story,” she concluded, offering a glimpse into the challenges she faced and the resilience required to rebuild her life.
