Renowned businesswoman AbdulShally has added her voice to the heated custody battle between Nigerian singer Davido and his baby mama, Sophia Momodu. The high-profile dispute has drawn widespread attention, particularly after Sophia accused Davido of neglecting their daughter, Imade, and failing to provide financial support for the past two years.

Davido countered these accusations, revealing that Sophia had refused his offer of an apartment in Oniru, Victoria Island, Lagos, which he had purchased for her. Instead, she insisted that he continue paying over N20 million in yearly rent. Furthermore, she rejected his N5 million accommodation support.

She stated, "I’m not for or against any of them because nobody really knows the story. But, to me, N5 million is enough money for housing allowance for anywhere in Nigeria. My own opinion is based on my personal experience. A baby mama shouldn’t expect a wife’s benefit.”
