Famous Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, has boldly stated that it's insulting to claim he isn't on the same level as Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.

The young star made this declaration while addressing the backlash from his controversial tweet, "No more Big 3 there’s now a Big 4," featured in his latest song 'Hehehe,' released through Mavin Global Holdings on Monday morning.

Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy are widely regarded as the top Nigerian/Afrobeats artists globally, collectively known as the "Big 3." However, Rema insists that he has earned his place among these megastars, thus expanding the elite group to a "Big 4."

In his song, Rema sings: “No more big 3, there’s now a big 4. People go para but what for? Dem go say I don’t deserve it but that is an insult.”

Rema’s assertion has sparked significant debate within the Afrobeats community, with some fans supporting his claim and others defending the traditional "Big 3." The singer's bold move signifies his confidence and ambition in the industry, further highlighting his rapid rise and influence in the Afrobeats scene.
