Grammy-winning singer Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has made history once again, tying with fellow Nigerian artiste Tems for the second most certified singles in RIAA history, with four each.

This milestone was achieved following the Gold certification of his hit collaboration with British Grime star Dave, "Location," by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for selling 500,000 units in the United States.

Burna Boy's previously certified songs in the U.S. include "Last Last" (Platinum), "Ye" (Gold), and "On The Low" (Gold). This latest certification brings him level with Tems, another prominent Nigerian artist known for her impactful music and international acclaim.

Wizkid, however, remains the most certified Nigerian artist in the U.S. with seven certified singles, showcasing his continued dominance in the international music scene.

In other significant music news, American rapper J.Cole has earned his first-ever diamond certified single. His 2019 smash hit "Middle Child" has joined the prestigious RIAA diamond league for selling 10 million units. Music monitoring platform Chart Data confirmed the achievement with a tweet on Thursday: "J.Cole earns his first ever @RIAA Diamond single with ‘Middle Child’."

These accomplishments highlight the global influence and success of Nigerian artists and their contributions to the music industry, as well as J.Cole's continued impact on the American music scene.
