A Magistrate Court in Ogba, Lagos State, has postponed the child custody proceedings between Queen Oyekanmi and skitmaker Promise Anagbogu, popularly known as Lord Lamba. The hearing has been rescheduled to July 18 following Lord Lamba's failure to appear in court on Thursday.
Sources report that while Queen Oyekanmi was present for the scheduled hearing, Lord Lamba was notably absent. Adding to the complications, his lawyer also did not attend the session, instead sending a representative who admitted to having no information on the skitmaker's absence.
"Today was the court hearing and Queen was there but her baby daddy didn’t show up. His lawyer didn’t come; instead, he sent his assistant to represent him. Because he didn’t appear in court, his lawyer requested a new date, so it was adjourned to 18th of July for hearing," a source revealed.
The adjournment marks another delay in the ongoing custody dispute, with the court now set to reconvene in mid-July to address the case. As both parties prepare for the next hearing, the absence of Lord Lamba and his legal team has left questions unanswered and tensions high.
