Veteran Nigerian rapper Terry Tha Rapman has criticized singer Wizkid for what he perceives as Wizkid's negative impact on music genres.

Wizkid recently faced backlash for disavowing Afrobeats, claiming he cannot be confined to a single genre.

Terry Tha Rapman pointed out that Wizkid previously declared "rap is dead," suggesting that Wizkid's comments have a detrimental effect on music genres.

He warned Highlife artists to be cautious, implying that Wizkid may target their genre next.

Terry Tha Rapman wrote, “First rap, now Afrobeats. How many genres Wizkid wan kill? Highlife, run o!”
