Muhabbat Yakubu, a student in SS2 at Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), has been chosen to represent Nigeria at the International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) in Germany on May 31, 2024.
The IFLC is a yearly event that highlights the various linguistic talents from around the world, aiming to bring nations together through shared human values and inclusivity. It serves as a symbol of respect, harmony, and peace, demonstrating how art, dance, and music can serve as universal languages to unite people from different backgrounds.
The International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC) is a celebration that highlights cultural and linguistic diversity, as well as the values of universal peace, love, and friendship through music and dance.
Originating in Turkey in 2003 with students from 17 countries, the IFL the years. In 2015, 160 countries participated in events worldwide, with over 2000 participants. The franchise has also expanded to Australia since 2015.
This event offers students the opportunity to showcase their language and culture to others from around the world and to local audiences in host countries. Lifelong friendships are formed, and connections are to among different cultures.
The Managing Director of NTIC, Mr. Fayzullah Bilgin, announced on Sunday that Muhabbat Yakubu, a talented individual from Nigeria, has been selected to represent her country on 31st May 2024 in Germany, in International Festival of Language and Culture (IFLC), an event which celebrates diversity, cultural exchange, and linguistic harmony; brings together participants from around the world.
Bilgin praised Muhabbat's cultural awareness, linguistic abilities, and commitment to promoting unity through language and culture. He wished her good luck in her participation at the prestigious event.
