Mr Jollof apologises to Duncan Mighty, DJ Barbie

Nigerian comedian Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof, has issued an apology to singer Duncan Mighty. This comes after Mr Jollof publicly criticized Duncan Mighty for not fulfilling his commitment to perform at a concert in Warri, Delta State, despite being paid N3 million.

Mr Jollof had previously aired his grievances, accusing Duncan Mighty of breaching their contract and requesting a refund. However, in a recent development, Mr Jollof has extended his apologies to the Port Harcourt-born singer, clarifying that he had been misinformed about Duncan Mighty's intentions and expressing regret for the public call-out.

In a video message posted on his Instagram page, Mr Jollof explained that he took the action based on incorrect advice, and he appreciates Duncan Mighty for refunding the money. The comedian acknowledged his mistake and conveyed his respect for the singer.

He said, “Bros, abeg no vex. We youths we are quick to react due to stigmatisation. I didn’t believe you would scam me but the advices I was receiving from people was why I called you out.

“Please don’t be angry with me. All my threats were mere rantings. Forgive me, I’m not perfect.”

Additionally, Mr Jollof extended an apology to DJ Barbie after receiving a refund of the N600,000 he had sent to her.

Previously, Mr Jollof had publicly criticized DJ Barbie for not honoring her commitment to appear at the same event despite receiving payment.

With the refund in place, Mr Jollof expressed regret for the earlier call-out and acknowledged the resolution of the issue.
