Renowned Nigerian comedian, Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, widely known as Alibaba, has asserted that skit maker Mark Angel is among the wealthiest comedians in Nigeria. Alibaba stated that Mark Angel reportedly earns up to $300,000 per month.
In the recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Alibaba emphasized that Mark Angel's considerable wealth may not be apparent to many because he doesn't showcase it publicly.
Despite his financial success, Mark Angel is known for maintaining a low profile and refraining from ostentatious displays of his wealth.
He said, “Some people still don’t believe Mark Angel is one of the richest comedians. Until somebody then hears how much YouTube, Facebook pay him every month. You hear someone is making up to $300,000 a month. And you are like, ‘Is it not that guy that wears big shorts and acts crazy?”Despite his financial success, Mark Angel is known for maintaining a low profile and refraining from ostentatious displays of his wealth.
Alibaba highlighted that if Mark Angel were in professions like politics, banking, or oil, people would readily acknowledge his wealth. However, due to his career as a comedian, some may underestimate his financial success.
Alibaba urged people to refrain from undervaluing the comedy profession, emphasizing that success and affluence are not exclusive to certain industries, and comedians like Mark Angel can achieve significant prosperity.
