Illbliss criticizes Phenom for what he perceives as 'disrespect' towards Mode9

Nigerian hip-hop artiste Illbliss has criticized fellow rapper Phenom for what he deems a "disrespectful" comment about the legendary rapper Mode9.

In the latest episode of The Yarns Podcast, Phenom expressed, "I don’t see Mode9 as someone I want to be like." Responding on his Instagram page, Illbliss condemned Phenom's statement, describing it as "disrespectful" and showing "utter disregard" for a legend who has made significant contributions to the hip-hop culture in Nigeria.

He wrote, “Even Phyno would never disrespect the Hiphop pioneers that came before him, with phantoms parked in his garage. Really truly disappointed Phenom. Mode9 is a living legend, alive and well, incredibly decorated and respected for his contributions to Hiphop culture. I hate the disregard!”
