Shallipopi advised colleagues to be like Wizkid

Talented singer Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, has advised fellow artists to take a cue from Grammy-winning superstar Wizkid in maintaining a respectful and composed presence on social media.

He emphasized that artists who are excessively outspoken on social media might risk diminishing their public image and reputation.

Speaking in a recent interview with 78 Factory, Shallipopi said: “To stay relevant, you stay silent. When you talk too much, you lose value. Let your music and your success speak for you like Wizkid.”

During the interview, Shallipopi, hailing from Edo State, clarified that his musical genre isn't afrobeats but a unique style he refers to as "afro-pluto." 

It's worth noting that Shallipopi gained widespread recognition after his track 'Elon Musk' became a viral sensation. 

Subsequently, he collaborated with artists like Zlatan Ibile and Fireboy DML on a remix of the song, further solidifying his status as a rising star in the music industry.
