Esteemed comic actor, John Okafor, popularly recognized as Mr. Ibu, has reached out on social media to request public assistance while he grapples with a medical condition that poses a threat to one of his legs.
Mr. Ibu made this appeal from his hospital bed on a Wednesday. In a video shared on his Instagram page, the actor disclosed that he has been unwell for several weeks and has been receiving treatment as an inpatient.
Describing the nature of his ailment, he explained that his medical team had informed him that they might need to amputate his leg if they couldn't find an alternative solution.
Additionally, Mr. Ibu's daughter, Jasmine Okafor, expressed concern that his condition has not improved, and he has depleted his financial resources. As a result, she implored compassionate individuals to contribute to flying her father abroad for more advanced medical care.
Capturing the video, Ibu wrote: “Dear Good people of Nigeria, we are counting on your support at these points we need it the most.
