American singer Britney Spears has disclosed that she terminated a pregnancy during her relationship with record producer Justin Timberlake. The two were in a romantic relationship from 1999 to 2002.
In her forthcoming memoir titled 'The Woman in Me,' Spears shared, "At one point when we were dating, I became pregnant with Justin’s baby."
She expressed her deep affection for Timberlake and her anticipation of starting a family with him in the future, although the pregnancy occurred earlier than she had expected.
The 41-year-old said Timberlake “definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
She mentioned that if the decision had been solely up to her, she would not have chosen to terminate the pregnancy.
The mother of two said, “To this day, it’s one of the most agonizing things I have ever experienced in my life.”
