Europa League: Molde prepared to face ‘physical monster’ Boniface — Strande

 

Trond Strande, the assistant coach of Molde, has described Victor Boniface as a formidable force.

The Norwegian team is set to face Bayer Leverkusen in their second UEFA Europa League match at the Aker Stadium on Thursday evening. 

Strande is familiar with Boniface from his time playing for Bodo) Glimt in the Norwegian Premier League. 

The coach believes that Molde is eagerly anticipating the challenge of going up against the Nigerian striker.

“He is a physical monster. We know him from before and we are looking forward to that duel too,” Molde told Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.

On matchday one, Boniface contributed to Bayer Leverkusen's 4-0 victory against BK Hacken by scoring a goal and providing an assist.
