Osimhen told to join Chelsea or Real Madrid

Rangers legend, Ally McCoist, has encouraged Napoli striker Victor Osimhen to turn down a permanent move to the Saudi Pro League and consider options like Chelsea or Real Madrid instead.

Osimhen's stellar performances last season have elevated him to one of the most coveted strikers globally. The Nigerian played a pivotal role in Napoli's triumph, securing their first Serie A title in 33 years while netting 31 goals across various competitions.

However, Osimhen is contemplating a potential departure from Napoli next January. The former Lille standout is reportedly considering legal action against his own club, Napoli, following what appears to be a disparaging TikTok video involving him.

“He can’t go to Saudi Arabia! He has been playing in a top team, he is some player,” McCoist said on talkSPORT.

“He is the real deal and he should be going to Chelsea or Real Madrid.”

When asked about Osimhen’s treatment at Napoli, McCoist added, “It’s bizarre what is happening there. I mean, you’d have to think that it is something strange going on there and the social media of the club.”
