In a heartwarming turn of events, the beloved Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, and her estranged husband, JJC Skillz, have come together again one year after announcing their separation. Their reunion took place at a movie premiere in Lagos State.
The couple originally exchanged vows in a London ceremony in 2016 and joyfully welcomed twins into their lives in 2018. However, in June 2022, JJC Skillz took to his Instagram page to publicly declare their separation, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Despite the intense scrutiny their separation received on social media, the details surrounding their parting remained private. Nevertheless, a heartwarming video currently circulating on the internet captures the couple at the IMAX Theatre in Lekki, where they are seen dancing and embracing during the premiere of Funke Akindele's latest film, 'She Must Be Obeyed.' What's even more remarkable is that the movie was directed by JJC Skillz, her estranged husband.
The event also drew the presence of several renowned celebrities, including Femi Adebayo, Lateef Adedimeji, Jaiye Kuti, Iyabo Ojo, Toyin Abraham, and many more, adding to the joyous and celebratory atmosphere.
