Mohbad: Fresh FM bans all songs under Marlian Records

The management of Fresh FM 106.9, a popular radio station in Ekiti State, has enacted a ban on the airing of songs from the Marlian Records label. This decision was made in response to public concerns following the untimely demise of singer Mohbad. The ban comes amidst allegations of victimization depicted in various viral videos and the alleged involvement of individuals associated with Mohbad's former record label, Marlian Records, which is owned by the renowned Nigerian artist Naira Marley. 

Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Records, tragically passed away last Tuesday under mysterious circumstances. On Monday, the police established a special investigative team to examine the circumstances surrounding the singer's death. The team is expected to provide an interim report within two weeks. 

Fresh FM's Head of Production and Music Content, Oluwaseunfunmi Williams, announced this ban in a statement released and shared with our source, citing the public outcry and calls for justice for Mohbad as the primary reasons for this action.
