Mary Njoku Condemns Call for DNA Test on Mohbad's Son, Labels it "Pure Evil"

Renowned Nollywood actress and producer, Mary Njoku, has strongly criticized the suggestion that the late singer Mohbad's wife should subject their son to a DNA test, labeling it as malevolent.

Our source POST reported that in the wake of the circumstances surrounding Mohbad's death on September 12, 2023, Nigerians, including his fans and fellow celebrities, have been clamoring for justice.

Some online users have even gone so far as to request that Omowunmi, the late singer's wife, have their 5-month-old son, Liam, undergo a DNA test to eliminate any doubts regarding her loyalty to her deceased partner.

In response to the growing debate over the DNA test, Mary Njoku expressed her opinion in an Instagram post on Friday. She argued that there would be no reason to consider a DNA test if the late singer himself had never questioned the paternity of his son.

“Asking a mourning widow to submit her son for a DNA test is pure evil. She just lost a father to her child, a husband, her Helper and her Protector of over 10yrs. Let her mourn in peace.

“If her husband didn’t doubt the paternity of his child, who are we to think otherwise? Please let’s focus on getting #justiceformohbad.”
