During an interview with Kim Oprah on Hip TV programme, Trending; Khaid shared his journey to becoming a musician and the challenges he faced along the way. He mentioned that he had always been passionate about music and started singing at a young age.
However, due to financial constraints, Khaid had to take up various menial jobs to support himself and his family. He worked as a painter and a car mechanic at different times, using the money he earned to fund his music career.
Khaid's talent eventually caught the attention of popular comedian Sydney Talker, who signed him to his record label, Neville Records. This opportunity gave Khaid the platform he needed to showcase his talent and pursue his dreams in the music industry.
Since signing with Neville Records, Khaid has released several singles and gained a significant following on social media. He expressed his gratitude to Sydney Talker for believing in him and giving him the chance to pursue his passion.
Khaid's story serves as an inspiration to aspiring musicians who may be facing similar challenges. Despite starting from humble beginnings and working various odd jobs, he never gave up on his dreams and eventually found success in the music industry.
Despite this, the 'Anabella' singer expressed that he had always been aware of his inevitable path to greatness, emphasizing that the low-level jobs he undertook were merely a stepping stone in his journey.
“I see everything as programming. At that time when I was a car mechanic, I knew it was just programmed for me to be there at that time. I knew it was necessary for me to be there at that time. I knew that was not where I was going to be forever. But I just knew it was necessary for me to go through that process either for something that’s coming in the future or something that’s gonna happen at that time. He said,
“I knew it was a process at that time. And I vibed with the process until I got to where I felt like is where I’m going to.”
