Adding her voice to the plight of Nigerians is popular singer, Simisola Kosoko, simply known as Simi. Simi raised a voice to lament the country's excruciating economic hardship.
The petrol rise also affected everything else, the price of foodstuffs and the cost of living rose astronomically in the country.
