It's no longer news that David de Gea is no longer going to be putting on the Red Devils jersey next because his contract was not renewed. However, what is news now is his next possible posting after leaving the club which has now been revealed.
The Spainish international confirmed his departure from Man United on Saturday.
His contract with the Red Devils expired at the end of June following several weeks of uncertainty over whether he would remain at Old Trafford for a 13th season.
However, Man United have opted not to renew De Gea’s contract and the Premier League giants are now pressing ahead with a £44 million move for Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana.
According to Betfair’s latest odds, a Saudi Pro League club is the most-likely destination for De Gea following his Man United exit at 9/4.
The report added that a move to Major League Soccer (MLS) is also among the frontrunners for De Gea’s next destination at 3/1.
Bayern Munich is considered De Gea’s most-likely next club at 9/2, followed by Valencia at 15/2 and Sevilla at 17/2.
