2023 WWC: Oshoala expresses her confidence, says Super Falcons won’t disappoint

As we prepare for action at the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala has express her confidence that the Super Falcons will put up a good show at the tournament. The tournament will make it the 10th time the Nigerian girls will be featuring in the World Cup. This year's competition will be co-hosted by Australia and the Republic of Ireland.

Nigeria’s best performance in the history of the competition was a quarter-final finish at the 1999 edition hosted by the United States of America.

“Please, and please, come rain, come sun, stay put with the Super Falcons. We are going to make you proud, and we are going to put in one hundred percent effort, and that’s a promise, “Oshoala was quoted by Soccernet.ng.

The Super Falcons will face Canada, Australia and the Republic of Ireland in Group B.

Randy Waldrum’s opening game is against Olympic champions, Canada on July 21.
