Nigerian chef from Ekiti state, Damilola Adeparusi who became popular for attempting to break Chef Hilda Baci's Guinness World Records was full of joy when she was gifted N1 million by a businessman.
Reports have it that the businessman promised to give chef Dammy a whooping sum of N1 million after watching a viral video of the chef buying roasted corn by the roadside.
The clip that made its way to the internet showed the chef standing quietly by the roadside waiting to buy corn.
However, the video caused a stir online as many criticized the celebrity chef while others supported her. As a result of the dragging, the businessman identified as Fekomi was moved with sympathy to assist her with N1 million. After the announcement, some netizens mocked the businessman saying he was only chasing clout.
