Ronaldo says Saudi League is better than MLS as Messi joins Inter Miami

Many fans have speculated that the rivalry between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi will continue at the Saudi League when the latter's contract was terminated at PSG. They thought Messi would move to the middle east to continue contending with Ronaldo, but it came as a rude awakening when Messi chose MLS.

Even Al Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo thought and would have loved it if Messi has moved to Saudi to join him. But he was disappointed and he registered his disappointment in his recent claim which is currently trending on Twitter. 

Ronaldo said claimed that the Saudi Pro League is better than the Major League Soccer (MLS).

Recall that Messi left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent this summer and snubbed a move to Saudi, where he would have renewed his rivalry with Ronaldo.

However, Ronaldo insists he made the better choice, pointing to players flocking to the Middle East as proof.

“Saudi league is better than MLS.

“I opened the way to the Saudi league… and now all the players are coming here,” Ronaldo said.
