Senator Threatens To Use Deadly ‘JUJU’ On Nigerian Soldiers - Over 2019

Senator Bassey Albert Akpan

Mr. Bassey Albert Akpan, Nigeria serving Senator, recently in a statement, vowed to unleash fetish powers against the country’s armed forces.

Senator Akpan, who represents Akwa Ibom North East (Uyo) Senatorial District of Akwa Ibom State in the Red Chambers, hails from Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, where a mysterious invisible power used for local conflicts reportedly held sway in the pre-colonial era, the APC Newspaper reports.

According to the report, the fetish power is known as ‘Ekpe Ikpa Ukod’ in local parlance.

The report further has it that during war, ‘Ekpe Ikpa Ukod’ kills perceived enemies with reckless abandon.

The Senator, while speaking on Saturday during a consultative visit to his kinsmen in Ibiono Ibom LGA, had urged Ibiono Ibom people to prepare well for the 2019 elections, and stressed that he will resist military presence with ‘ekpe ikpa ukod.’

“They have sent messages to me that they will bring armoured cars to my compound during election with four soldiers escorting me to and from the polling unit. Since they are threatening us with Federal might, we assure them that they will meet Traditional might in Ibiono Ibom that D-day. That can never happen in Ibiono Ibom LGA.

“Don’t be worried by 2019. We have our votes, they have soldiers, they should know that Ibiono Ibom people are not cowards, we have traditional power which is stronger than their Federal might. Let them consult our history.

“They think they can threaten and coerce me to join APC with court cases. Let the time come and they shall know”, the Senator said.
