Third Mainland Bridge |
The Lagos State Government has announced this afternoon that the Third Mainland Bridge which was temporarily closed for Investigative Maintenance Test would by 5pm on Sunday(today) be reopened for traffic.
Dr Taiwo Salaam, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transportation, Lagos State, said the decision to reopen the bridge before the earlier announced date is as a result of the completion of the test by engineers, earlier than scheduled.
The government therefore thank all motorists and residents for their cooperation and patience while the closure lasted.
